1. Why do I have to fill out the question form to get the free 15 minute consult?
Since the free consult only lasts 15 minutes, I have constructed a form that gives a solid overview of what they artist is about and where they are at in advance of the call or Skype session. This information can make the 15 minutes that much more effective and productive for the artist.
2. How much does a consult cost? or How much is a consulting package?
A one hour consult is $110.00 USD. A half hour consult is $60.00 USD.
Larger packages such as business plans, content development and marketing packages are priced according to the individuals needs and abilities. If an artist, label or manager has certain resources that are not needed by us, we can adjust the cost accordingly. If a single consult leads in to a full package, that consult fee will be taken off of the full package.
3. Does Loren take any percentages for production, writing, organization or major alterations made for an artist, a label, a management group or business?
No. Not at all. Loren serves as an independent contractor where all production, consulting and changes belong to the client exclusively. The below is from the Consulting Agreement that every client receives. “All writing, direction, designs, production alterations, changes, edits, adjustments or repairs to any music, content, graphics or other media is exclusively owned by the Client. Loren Weisman retains no rights, ownership, percentages, production points, publishing or any future applicable or obtainable revenues for any work completed for the client. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to create a partnership, joint venture or other business relationship between the Parties.”
4. Will you get me signed, give me contacts or find me investors?
No. We do consulting, organization, preparation, marketing and branding so that the artist, the label, the management group or the agent can begin the soliciting for themselves.
