The answer is to make your life worlds simpler! As you build out your brand and the content that will support it, having an editorial calendar to be able to plan content in and around for release can take away a lot of stress.
You’ve got a lot to do with your business and while ideas pop into your head, they can be placed on a calendar.
Why do I need an editorial calendar? The different parts
The first section is the idea and the planning of what type of media to present it in. Will it be a video, a meme, a photo, an audio or a blog? make that decision and then add to when you will write it, record it or shoot it.
Next, title it! Yes, title it and build the optimization around it so it can have the greatest effect to create the best results.
Then schedule it. Drip content out evenly and productively.
Just because you have five great Twitter posts that come to mind one afternoon, does not mean you should post them out all in a row, that day.
Take advantage of moving content into an editorial calendar to be able to spread the wealth.
Why do I need an editorial calendar? It will make you a happier person.
Trying to come up with content each day on the fly is unproductive, mostly ineffective and only adds extra time to an already busy day. By stretching things out and addressing content in advance, it will make that content stronger and content creation time that much easier.
Even if you work with a marketing group or a social media posting team, create that calendar with them! Maintain your voice and message throughout the posting and content distribution process!
