Later the Flat Stanley Project had kids and adults taking pictures of their Flat Stanley all around the world.

Using Flat Stanley as a marketing tool for you.

By using Flat Stanley as a marketing tool by making your product, your logo, maybe even a bobblehead of yourself become the focus, you bring a more interesting touch than the same old pictures of you.

This subsidiary branded item can have almost a life of its own as it travels with you but has its own opinions about places, food, and landmarks. In turn, it can engage those that already know you and have already seen you but may get more of a kick out of images with your Flat Stanley item.

In an aspect of defining your brand messaging with a humorous element, it adds another flavor and images as well.

I used it for my book.

When I was on the road for The Artists Guide to Success in the Music Business summer book tour in 2014, the book was the focus of the pictures, not me.

The book made the comments, the book had the experiences and it became that much more of a connector for the audience.

It can also bring a sense of humility and humor

Where you might find yourself showing off in certain pictures of yourself, even when not intending to, that Flat Stanley item can make it a little more engaging.

For instance, in a big radio interview… over saying… Look at me on this show!

You can take a shot of your book, your product, your bobblehead or whatever and make mention of that item hogging the microphone or drinking too much coffee before the interview…This, in turn, has people aware you are there, but in a way that isn’t screaming… Look at me!

Think about this approach and how you could tie in a Flat Stanley concept to your marketing.
