Sarcasm has always been a thing. Some using in only joking manners while others use to bully, to insult and too attack. As communication has become more and more toxic in recent years and with this compounding quarantine fatigue and COVID19, it feels like it has amplified a great deal.
From the news, to social media and everywhere else, the tone and temperature in some ways, has become more toxic than the virus it self. It’s almost as if for some people, it is easier to be brutal than it is be beautiful.

So while there is no overarching way to make people nice. And, we clearly can’t tell someone to be nice, perhaps, the middle road is to ask for people to consider sarcasm distancing even before we find out when the social distancing will end.
