Carls Jr CBD Burger was the talk of the town or well, all over social media a while back. It was an interesting style of marketing to push out the concept of CBD and bring some great attention to the chain.
Carls Jr CBD Burger had no CBD in it.
First off, it was a sauce that went on the burger. The burger it self had no CBD and for that matter, the amount in the sauce was so low, there is a very strong chance that no one would have felt any of the medicinal or positive effects of CBD if they purchased the burger.
Vetting the marketing fools behind this showed them not to be fools, but more so genius. They didn’t lie, they just chose to share pieces and parts of the story and not the whole story.
This allowed for the general public to take things to a whole different level. No all out deception as a marketing approach like the IHOP’s Fake name change to promote their burgers. This was more to grab the train and trending motion of CBD. And while it was named the Rocky Mountain High and ironically, CBD does not get you high , most every one was focused on Carls Jr and CBD Burger. Which was exactly what they wanted.
This is all the more reason to look into the stories you read beyond just the headlines. Take the time to vet out what you are reading and what you are believing. It is the same concept as vetting a charity before you send money or vetting an individual before you work with them.
And in the end, it can be in fun, but be careful what you add to the fire and that what you share as fact, is actually that, a fact and not part of the hype train that is trying to make fiction seem like truth.
