Connections and likes are often put as the main focus, but in these online connections with simple likes or follows, many if not most do not turn to conversions or sales.
Many businesses and brands push for a very false connection with potential customers. The idea that is commonly shared is that if they get a whole bunch of follows, it will automatically up their popularity and in turn up business.
The connections and likes problem regarding the above assumption?
It is rarely true.
If you are only marketing your content, skimping on brand messaging and only putting out content to grow numbers online, the actual sales numbers may stay very low.
Stop asking for the like or the fast connection and start looking to share, engage and treat each person like they are some one you want to know. That authenticity will also help draw those that are tired of being treated like a number.
Build your authentic and true numbers by building content to engage and attract people to you. Allow them to feel like much more than just another connection, like or number.
This creates real numbers, real sales and true engagement that way.
