Do not want to vote in an archives tag for lorenweisman.com and part of a quote from a blog by brand messaging strategist Loren Weisman.
Do not want to vote
So have every right to say they do not want to vote. As much as it is a right to vote, it is also a right to choose not to. Consider that someone may have a different view on voting than yours. In that consideration, think of how you can bring up the topic and the idea with out going to insults and shaming.
Where would anyone being attacked, insulted and shamed for them choosing to exercise their rights, want to listen? Consider a shift in tone and tactics. Allow for a conversation and prepare for understanding a view you might not agree with.
They might not vote in this election, but perhaps, you could be the catalyst that draws them to register for the next one.
