Reasons to add an Intellectual Property Policy to your Website

Having an Intellectual Property Policy Statement on your website is a smart way to show you’re professional and respect original work, as well as the rights of others. It clearly lays out what’s protected and helps visitors understand the rules. This not only helps prevent misuse or theft but also cuts down on potential disputes later on. As Loren Weisman says, “Lay it out, make it obvious, and keep it upfront… protecting your content protects your credibility and strengthens the trust with your audience.”
