In the wild west of new AI or artificial intelligence applications that are showing up more and more these days (like ChatGPT.)  It has become even more of a thing, while being around for years and year… but perhaps not as known to much of the public.

Where is the authority and authenticity in plagiarizing somebody else’s authority and authenticity?

And where is the honesty in passing off either licensed or AI generated content, books and courses as your own?

A quote that reads "We appear to be in an up swing trend of artificial intelligence creating artificial experts." with an image of FSG messaging and optics strategist Loren Weisman and a robot above him
“We appear to be in an up swing trend of artificial intelligence creating artificial experts.”

To me, the positive side of Artificial Intelligence or AI shows itself in automation options and wonderful elements that can simplify certain types of work, research and intelligence gathering and organizing.  These tools can be very useful for businesses at all levels and all sizes.

Now on the dark side of AI or how I see the dark side of artificial intelligence if you will, those that are using it to create content or creating words, audios, videos and images that are not from your knowledge, wisdom, or experience can set a bad standard.

It has become a problem to me and to many that are being fooled by false and less experienced people using these AI products to appear as more than they are.  Some are using AI to create entire product and promotions that have no ability or knowledge or for that matter in the topics.

“We appear to be in an up swing trend of artificial intelligence creating artificial experts.”

This seems to be showing up a lot more in those that are trying to funnel people in. This includes those crazy chat bots being used to pretend to be people.

And in the end, it is good to vet, do your due diligence and see if they have the professionalism or are pretending to know what they don’t. And that is the Artificial Intelligence Statement from FSG. This is one of the FSG strategic touch points we share tied to accountability as well as where the foundation of our FSG process architecture is built on.
