Is your marketing message secure enough? 3 S’s to consider when it comes to the right time and the right way to tell the world about what you have.

Is your marketing message secure enough?

When you’re putting it out there in your videos and your quotes and your blogs and your articles and your digital marketing…

Could someone steal it, stop it or sue it, or sue you?

If that isn’t taken care of, the stability, security and foundation of your message may be an issue.

Could they stop it in that sense of…

did you come up with a great idea, or work with a team of marketers that came up with some amazing tagline and an amazing way to frame your product…
and yet they didn’t do the discovery or the diagnostics, the optics online…

to see what else is out there that looks like it smells like it, sounds like it, or has existing copyrights or trademarks.

Next, are you putting out too much too soon where you haven’t properly laid that blueprint to explain this is yours.

Many people jump to marketing too soon, and they make it that much easier for someone to steal it.

And third, could they sue you for what you’re saying?

Right now, we’re at a time where we’re kind of waiting for that ambulance chasing lawyer to come online and state, this didn’t work the way you promised.

Oh, well, you know, I was just marketing like other people.

That’s not going to hold up in court.

Consider the claims that you make.

Consider that shifting them or organizing your message so it stays strong and assertive… but it stands subjective, and it doesn’t make a claim where it doesn’t need to make a claim.

Then you can prevent that problem.

Consider inside of your messaging to avoid the steal it, stop it, suing it marketing by getting the blueprint and the foundation of your message solid first, before you begin to build on top of that and something comes to tear it all down.
